The PhD programme (Promotionsverbund) “Collocations: Constructing Interknowledges: Negotiating Proximities”  is advertising a

doctoral researcher position (m/f/d, TVL-E13 pay scale, 65%)

for 31 months to be taken up at 01 September 2024 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Candidates should provide as part of their application a 5-page doctoral research proposal addressing the theoretical framing of the PhD-programme. Proposals with a connection to African studies will be given preferential treatment.

Prerequisites for the appointment are an excellent Masters-level qualification in a relevant discipline, and English competency adequate to operate within the context of the research group, alongside any other languages necessary for the completion of the research project.
